Intel® Project: Реалізація методу проектів у навчанні та вихованні.

Intel Project  Science and Technology in our Life has been done by joint group of students of school№5.The project was aimed at  investigation of  the topic, the importance of science in the progress of civilization.

The students found information and made reports and presentations about inventions and inventors, modern information and communication technologies, electric appliances people use in their evryday life.

The guestions of our computerized life, more and more controlled by machines, confidentiality of our private life, the Internet ethic were under the discussion. The students told how they use mobile phones, computers, computer software programmes, educational the Internet services and security systems to acquire the latest knowledge to keep their studies successful. Some students shared the experience of  makinng the Internet Portfolio and activities of some international organizations in Ukraine.

The students of the Club learn how to be 

 Good Team Members.

Elena Kolesnik presented the Internet electronick Portfolio which is a great help in her future carreer prospects she considers it to be.In addition to physical development, she works on improving her English and French languages. During the school year, she visits the "School European Club" at school № 5, in which the students do different projects in English and discuss them. Thus they  improve speaking skills and acquire skills in computer programming and qualities they need in life, learn how to communicate with each other.

The students learn how to use key words  to identify and extract some specific & relevant information from the Internet.

Now they can talk in English on the topic, discuss the neccessary information, make interesting and useful presentations use all the steps while writing E-mail .

Some people say that modern technologies and  computers disconnect people, some young people get "addicted" to the computers. Some live in the virtual world of computer games, chat rooms, the Internet instead of living in the world of real human experience and communication. What's your opinion about this?
