Pavlograd secondary school of first – third grades №5 started its work in 1981. It became a school of Ukrainian language of communication in 1996. Since 2009 it is an experimental educational establishment of the region level which works on the problem Education science of creative work as background of the development of modern education. Nowadays there are more than 800 pupils, who study in it and 52 highly qualified specialists work there. The educational collective fulfills social order through specialization of education and profiling studying. According to the latest tendencies all teachers of our school have good computers skills and use them in their work.

 Our school is an establishment with high corporation cultural and its own symbols: a motto, an anthem, a flag and its own traditions. But all this might become nothing without hard work of all the members of it. The realization of this purposes becomes possible due to the body of pupil’s self-control. We have our own republic “Rainbow” the head of it is the president, usuallyhe or she is a pupil of senior form who is elected by the children.

All students of our school have the right to take part in the organization of school life and suggest their own ideas. They work separately and also help the teachers in need.

Cosmopolitism is the main aim of up-bringing process. We are sure that we would have no future if we don’t know and respect our past. That is why we keep with great honor Ukrainian traditions, especially those of Cozaks, and learn history of our forefathers. So it is traditional for our school to hold Vechornitsy, a party where not only the pupils take part in, but our teachers and parents as well.

One of the main aims of our school is to develop a creative person with board outlook. In modern life of a formation of society and education system it is necessary to find out art creativity, social skills and profession development. The main purposes of our educational establishment is the development of personality in the process of education and bringing up formation of a person – creator. It’s a difficult task to become a school of success, but it’s a school of future.

Peculiarities of our school:
1. Provides the system of student’s self-control
2. Organizes a system of preparation for entering the high educational establishments
3. School is a platform of such subjects as Health Education, People and Society for young specialists
4. Created author program of extra-discipline “Civil education”
5. The system of social-psychological service is organized
6. Experimental course of professional educational “People and the world of professions”
7. Has the museum of  Ukrainian folklor “Svitlytsya”
8. Organized puppy theatre
9. The activity club of the English learners
We are proud of our school and it’s a great honor to be a part of it.
