A supermarkets network in Ukraine
Dear readers of my blog particularly those living in other countries, your attention is invited to an article on the provision of food products and the possibility of buying by the Ukrainian population. The information is presented in general terms.  You will find the prices of products  by the links at end of the article.We have a lot in Ukraine, however the possibility of purchasing depends primarily on wages and family income of each individual family.

The supermarkets are very popular in Ukraine. The reason for this is very simple - they offer a wide selection and somehow low prices compared to other shops. It is quite different stores that are located near the house, where people come to buy goods needed for them at this time. For example, cigarettes, beer, milk or bread. However, very often in big cities Ukrainians sit in the cars and go to a supermarket to purchase products. Sometimes they visit several supermarkets at a week.

In the first place of the ranking proved to be Ukrainian supermarket "ATB", which is the largest and fastest growing network of Ukraine. It was founded in 1993 and today this supermarket is the best and most favorite on the Ukrainian market. "ATB" has such a high popularity due to the fact that it is holding democratic pricing, optimal product differentiation, high quality products and value-added services for customers.  No less than two million Ukrainians buy goods at "ATB" every year.

A very popular is Supermarket "Silpo", which is a part of Fozzy Group network. Supermarkets "Silpo" - a self-service stores with an assortment of approximately twenty thousand kinds of products. These supermarkets are situated  in any region of Ukraine. Most of the assortment is food, but large stores have a large number of ancillary products such as household cleaning products, toys, stationery, small household appliances.

The advantages of "Silpo" include the following: it has its own department of cooking, a pleasant bonus program and its own brands. For example, buyers have the opportunity to buy cakes, salads, baked goods made in "Silpo". Another "Silpo" shelves are filled with products of such brands as "Povny Charca", "Povny Bowl", "award" and others. And all of them are competitive in quality and price. Each check has a pleasant prediction or suggestion to the buyer, and the entire staff is always with a polite smile and a desire to serve in the best way.

A very good position belongs to the supermarket "Fora", which is also a part of Fozzy Group network. This store is known as a "shop near the house" Buyers appreciate the most in proximity to their place of residence, comfort and the fact that it has only the most necessary products. The "Fora" range is about five thousand types of products, which include household goods, fruits and vegetables, fish, meat, bakery products, dairy products and so on. All visitors do not need to go far and do not take the time to buy everything they need. Often "Fora" is located in a big room on the ground floor of a block of flats.

So the most famous  supermarkets in Ukraine are All-Ukrainian supermarket "ATB", Fozzi Group (Fozzi, Сільпо, Фора), Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine, Retail Group (Great Kyshenya), Auchan Ukraine (Ашан), Фуршет(Cocktail), ECO Group (Eco-Market), Varus Supermarket and some others.Currently, we are witnessing the fall of incomes of the population in Ukraine. But despite this the food products of supermarkets and markets are in a necessary demand.
