Education in Ukraine. What makes students happy.

We want to tell you about our school. The school is new and modern and all students like it very much. It has two floors. The classrooms are light and spacious. There are classrooms for different subjects, such as English, History, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Biology Literature etc.There are two computer classes in our school. We study computer science here. The computer classes have the most modern equipment and the Internet access.

We have also an assembly hall. Meetings, conferences, concerts and all the celebrations take place here. We prepare different performances for all holidays. We sing songs, recite poetry, dance, and participate in theatre performances.

There are many opportunities to go in for sports in our school. Our school has a gym, a sports ground, a football field and other sports facilities. There are many different sports groups: table tennis, athletics, football, volleyball, wrestling, and rhythmic gymnastics. Many pupils of our school attend these sports groups.

In our school we have also a painting group, a dance group and a theatre group. All these groups are very popular and many pupils attend them.

Students participate in academic competitions. Such as: Kangaroo, Lion. Language competitions: Greenwich, Russian Bear, Sunflower and the others. For example, mathematical competition "Kangaroo" increases excitement towards mathematic achievements.

Students who are in the talented and gifted program, who like to “think out of the box,” or who enjoy thinking about futuristic problems may attend different clubs.We do like to be ingaged and have good results in International  Program  Intel Project "Learning for Future" at our school International Friendship Club.Our school is rich in interesting and well-developed intelligent young people.
Every year we have a lot of creative competitions in our school. Each student may try himself in any creative work. Each year to the Teacher `s Day, we draw posters with sincere greetings. On the Vechornytsi all interested students can prepare the dance dressed in Ukrainian national costumes. Before the New Year every class prepares a dance on New Year's theme.

The teachers in our school are very skilled. Together with the parents they try to create comfortable conditions for pupils to study. They give us all their knowledge and awake our interest to their subjects and to self study. Besides the school subjects, our teachers tell us about everything, about different problems of the  world, such as ecology, nature protection, climate changes etc.

Special thanks to the school principal Lyubov Vaschenko- she is not only a skilled leader, but a caring hostess who knows how to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the school.
There is a good tradition in our school. Every year people who graduated from our school come here to meet their teachers and classmates. These meetings take place every first Saturday of February.

We think that school years are very important for every person. It is a period of becoming adult, achieving knowledge, and choosing the way in life. Often school friends remain your friends for all your life. So we will never forget our school, our teachers, and our classmates.
