Писемне мовлення.
Завдання для написання письмового повідомлення.
Державна підсумкова атестація з англійської мови.

Третє завдання - писемне мовлення. Мета – визначити рівень сформованості в учнів навичок, необхідних для вирішення комунікативних завдань.
Завдання: створення текстів на основі конкретної ситуації і підказок: письмових підказок (повідомлень, листів, оголошень, реклами тощо); візуальних підказок (картинок, фотографій, таблиць, схем тощо).

1.   Write a letter to your close friend describing your favorite place in the flat. Give some information about the size, furniture of the place as well as some emotions and feelings linked with it. 

2.You’ve failed the exam in English. Write a letter to your friend.
Write about the reason of the failure and the feelings you have.
Describe your plans for future. Ask for some advice.

3. You came home late last night. Did you argue with your parents? Did they shout at you? Did you talk back? What should both teenagers and parents do to avoid quarrels?

4. The local council has decided to build a shopping centre near the house you live. You strongly disagree. Write a letter to the local authority with arguments of your disapproval.

5. What’s more important: to have a gap year or immediately enter the higher educational establishment? Give your reasons in an article.

6. Should smoking be forbidden? Write an article to a newspaper about disadvantages of smoking. Mention some advantages (working places, taxes, economic profit).

7. Write your CV. You’re applying for a hotel receptionist.

8. You are going to make a presentation of a book review. Speak of a genre, an author, a plot, the moral and main characters. Give your recommendations.

9. Write an article to a school newspaper on the topic ‘How to Live a Long Healthy Life’.

10. Imagine you are at the scientific conference and you are supposed to speak about global problems of nowadays. Make a list of five most common mankind threats, their sources and consequences.

11. If you were given a chance to spend a couple of weeks somewhere away from Ukraine what place would it be? Write a letter to your relative with the description of your travel experience.

12. Imagine you are writing a timetable for a language lyceum. What subjects will be favorable? What subjects won’t be included? Why? Try to persuade your colleagues in your point of view.

13. Write an advertisement about a profession of the future. Who will your readers be? What personal treats does a person need to represent the job? What about professional skills?

14. Write several rules (approximately eight) of how to behave while being abroad.

15. What is your favorite sport? Do you know some history of it? Write a list of rules. Are you a player or just a fan? Have you ever participated in competitions? Would you like to be a professional athlete? What does sport develop? Is sport getting more violent and illegal? Write an article to a sports magazine.

16. Some people say that girls are from the Venus while boys are from the Mars. Give a presentation. What is the difference between boys’ and girls’ way of thinking (logics, emotions, memory, imagination, attention)? Is it better to study in a mixed class or among boys (girls) only? How do you treat girls (boys)?

17. Compare London and Kiev. Write about the capitals’ geographical location, population, main industry branches, produced goods and famous sights. What would you like to visit?

18. Write of a person you admire (your parent, relative, classmate or friend). What attracts you most in him/her? Why are some people like magnet to us while others don’t have a charisma at all? What is more important: to have a kind heart or a pretty (handsome) appearance?

19. How to learn a foreign language? Can you write a list of clues? Don’t forget to mention both class and out - of – class activities, different learning styles (oral, visual, auditory, kinesthetic) as well as various resources (CDs, video, films, music, online and live communication and books).

20. Write a weather forecast for tomorrow. Is it going to rain? Will it be cloudy or sunny? How high will the temperature be? What will the weather be good for?

21. Write some library rules to be put on the school library door.

22. Explain the proverb, ‘Many men, many minds’. What is tolerance like? Is the Ukrainian society tolerant? Is there anything you feel uncomfortable about? Are you always tolerant?

23. You are going to write a menu. What dishes are they going to be? Explain your choice. Mention the type of a café and the prices.

24. You were waited last night by your Granny but you didn’t come. What was the reason? Apologize and arrange your next coming. Think of a little present to your Granny.

25. What are teens’ rights and obligations? Imagine you are making a report of these. When breaking rules is a must? Are you always obedient?

26. Imagine you are an animal. What animal do you associate yourself with? Do you like the lifestyle it leads? Or food it eats? Or you appreciate some treats of its?

27. You’re a millionaire! Your task is to raise your account. How will you distribute your amount? Will you organize any project or spend it on luxury? Is it good to be a millionaire? Are there any risks?

28. The best memory of your life. How and where did it happen? Who were you with? Did you celebrate anything? What did you feel? Was the memory romantic (music, candles, unfamiliar place)?
